Sundae School July 2021 Campaign
It was wonderful to work with Sundae School as the makeup artist for their July 2021 campaign featuring the launch of their brand new apparel collection. The campaign highlight was a video, directed by Grant Hyun, but the brand also shot plenty of photography of the work as well.
We shot in multiple locations all over Los Angeles from downtown to the beach pier.

Our July campaign is homage to Los Angeles. What a city. We relocated our HQ from NYC to LA in early 2020, and fell in love. As someone who has grown up in dense cities my whole life - Seoul and NY - I never really fucked with LA till I learned how to drive and got a Hyundai Santa Fe to whip around. From BBQs in Koreatown to spliffs in Santa Monica to our daily grind at Downtown where we are based, we worked with @grant_hyun to capture our favorite moments in the city 🤍 with beautiful @shainajacinta @hojoshin @jinho.myung and @timakkuma ❤️

One sequence included making tan lines out of the brand's logo.
Overall the makeup was glowy, fresh, and featured a small shimmery pop of liner on the model's eyes. All of this came together to fulfill the client's request for a casual effortless summer vibe.
